Spectrum Pavilion i – vi is a series of structures which contain material colour and project intangible coloured light. Working in tandem with the Spatial Environments these small zones allow the viewer to imagine themselves subsumed by the space and colour. They engage with architecture, influences drawn from Le Corbusier, Zaha Hadid, Richard Rogers and Toyo Ito, and comment on the relationship between the built and virtual environments; light being used to transmit data via electro-magnetic waves and optical fibre. They are built largely from recycled and surplus building materials.
